Last year’s inaugural event was held at The Wynn Hotel, Las Vegas where several hundred thousand dollars was raised. The funds were donated to The Global Institute for community health and development University of Miami and used to launch a Dr Jeffrey Sachs / Earth Institute inspired Millennium Village in Haiti.
The proceeds from this year’s event will be shared by the Millennium Village Haiti
and the Foundation Festival Film Jakmèl.
